Do I need to have a finished design idea before contacting you?
No — many clients come to us with just a few ideas or photos. Whether you have a clear vision or no clue where to start, we’ll guide you through what’s possible for your garden and lifestyle.
Is the consultation really free?
Yes. Our initial Zoom or phone consultation is completely free and no-obligation. It’s a chance to explore your ideas, answer questions, and see if we’re the right fit.
How far do you travel for garden projects?
We’re based in Welwyn Garden City and work across most of Hertfordshire — including Harpenden, St Albans, Hitchin, and surrounding villages. If you're nearby and unsure, we are happy to travel for 45 minutes from Welwyn Garden City, but feel free to ask if you are further away.
What does the garden design process involve?
It usually starts with a consultation and site visit. We then create concept sketches, layout plans, and planting suggestions — followed by a detailed build quote.
Can I send photos or a video of my garden?

Do you only offer garden design?
We’re primarily a design and build company, which means we manage the entire process — from initial ideas through to construction and planting. However, we also offer garden design as a standalone service, especially for clients who plan to build in stages or with another contractor.
Can you provide garden designs for Planning Permission applications?
Yes. We have experience preparing garden layouts and landscape plans to support planning applications, including for listed buildings, conservation areas, and new-build properties. We’re happy to work alongside your architect or planning consultant to meet specific requirements.
